Customers order with a sum. Work it out, hand over the right dish, keep the queue moving. Leave someone waiting and they'll get fed up and walk.
Rush hours turn up without warning. Twice the customers, twice the money, and suddenly it's a real test of whether those number facts are actually there.
Diner Cash goes on better tips, comfier seats and a new look for the place, so there's something to show for a good run.
It's the closest thing we have to flashcards. The difference is that no child has ever asked for another round of flashcards.
How to play
- Customers sit down and order with a sum.
- Work out the answer and hand over the dish that matches it.
- Watch the patience bar over each table. Let it empty and they walk out.
- Rush hours turn up without warning: twice the customers, twice the money.
- Spend Diner Cash on better tips, comfier seats and a new look for the place.

A few tips
- Serve the table closest to running out first, even if their sum is harder.
- During a rush, take the easy orders first to clear space.
- Tips add up faster than the base pay, so keeping people happy is worth more than speed.

Is it really free?
Yes. Math Diner runs in your browser, there's nothing to download, and there are no adverts anywhere. Make a free account and it'll save progress and throw in the starter worksheet pack. Paying lifts the daily play limit, and that's all it does. You can't buy your way to being better at the game.

Is it safe for kids?
