You line the road with archers, mages and freeze towers, then upgrade them by answering maths problems. Better answers, stronger defence.
Every fifth wave sends a boss, and you only beat those by getting through harder questions, working up from multiplication to percentages. A wrong answer costs a heart, so rushing isn't free.
There are three biomes and an endless swamp after that, so it keeps getting harder for as long as a kid wants it to.
Gold from correct answers pays for new towers, or a lightning strike when the road gets too crowded.
How to play
- Line the road with archers, mages and freeze towers before the wave arrives.
- Upgrade a tower by answering its maths problem. Better answers, stronger tower.
- Every fifth wave is a boss, and those ask harder questions.
- A wrong answer costs you a heart, so it is worth reading twice.
- Clear a biome to move on. There are three, and an endless swamp after that.

A few tips
- Freeze towers buy thinking time, which matters more than damage on boss waves.
- Spend gold between waves, not during one.
- If a boss keeps beating you, the answer is usually more upgrades, not more towers.

Is it really free?
Yes. Kingdom Math Defender runs in your browser, there's nothing to download, and there are no adverts anywhere. Make a free account and it'll save progress and throw in the starter worksheet pack. Paying lifts the daily play limit, and that's all it does. You can't buy your way to being better at the game.
