Grade 5 is heavy on division and fractions: long division, adding fractions with different denominators, decimal place value, and percentages of amounts for the first time.
In Australia this stage is usually called Year 5. Curricula differ between countries and states, so treat the topics below as typical rather than official.

Long division is really a times tables test in disguise. If it keeps going wrong, check the tables before re-teaching the method.
Games for the same skills
