Kids sign in with a class code. No passwords.
The part of the lesson where half the class has forgotten a password is gone. Your class gets one short code, and each child has two secret pictures instead of a password.
- Type the class code. Six letters and numbers, the same for the whole class. Or scan the QR code on their card and skip this step.
- Tap their name. Only first names are shown, and only for your class.
- Tap their two pictures. A cat and a rocket, say. Young children remember pictures far better than a password.
- Printable login cards. One page with a card per student: name, class code, their two pictures and a QR code. Cut them out and hand them round.
- Older students can use a username and password instead, printed on the same card.
- You stay in control. Change a child's pictures, reset a password, lock a login or switch picture sign-in off for the class, all from your dashboard.
- Five student logins free for your first month. Enough to try it with a reading group before you commit a whole class.
What you can do with a class
- Set up a class in minutes. Create student logins that need no email address, all at once, and print a login card for each student.
- Practice that marks itself. Every answer is checked as they play and questions adjust to each student, so marking is not your evening.
- See progress live. Per-topic mastery for every student, so you can spot who is stuck on fractions before the test does.
- Run Custom Duels. Short head to head rounds make a quick, noisy warm up.
- Print worksheets. One page PDFs with answer keys, sorted by grade and topic.
Assignments and school tournaments are being built and are not switched on yet.

Every student gets everything in Apex Champion. Running more than one class, or the whole school? Email support@sumburst.com with the school name, how many teachers and roughly how many students, and we will quote a school price with invoicing. Compare all plans.
Safe for a classroom
No adverts anywhere, no chat with strangers and no links out of a game. Student data is visible only to their linked teacher and parent or guardian, and student accounts do not need an email address. A class code only shows first names from that one class, and too many wrong picture guesses locks the login until you unlock it. More detail in children's privacy.
Want to trial it with one class?
Email support@sumburst.com and say roughly how many students and what you want them working on.
